THE AMBULANCE FUND IS INITIATED TO

It is a must to keep our ambulance in tip top condition because its response to emergency calls frequently and also to ensure zero breakdowns and malfunction. Daily audit will be done by member on call. However to maintain and up keep the ambulance there are wear and tear cost, maintenance cost involved. We do not compromise safety of our volunteer who will drive it and the patient in the ambulance.

The fund also used to purchase and replenish the medical items such as gauze, plasters, oxygen mask, gloves. To refill oxygen, and many more medical equipment that fitted in our ambulance to ensure the equipment is ready to perform during any emergency response.

The ambulance will be refurbished in yearly basis. Medical equipments will be upgraded and major body work will be carried out too. Due to our ambulance frequently response span with another 1 year as a backup ambulance before the committee members decides to donate 3 units of ambulance as hearse is Surau Al-Falah, Surau Al- Islah and Buddhist Organization in Klang.

One of the major hidden expenses is the cost of cleaning the ambulance after each response and disposes the used gloves and gauze as a schedule waste. The ambulance need comprehensive cleaning to avoid separate of pathogens, therefore we have to use high quality cleaning agents and that is costly.
