Just drop your emty 1.5 liter mineral water bottles at the special counter set up at the EU3 Shopping Complex in Jalan Loke Yew.

The complex’s senior manager, Jayantha Rajendra, said they aim to collect 15,000 of the 1.5 litre bottles and 2,000 of the 500 millilitre bottles.

The first 1,000 donors with 42 mineral water bottles will each receive a Merdeka Day Celebration car sticker and a can of Milo drink.

“It is to increase the awareness of recycled products and to encourage the implementation of recycling throughout the country.”

The project, jointly organized by Malaysian Volunteer Fire and Rescue Association, is also looking for 150 volunteers.
